     The History of Sangamon County, IL says that Albert L. is the only son of Otis and Clara. His age is not given but his parents were married in 1876 and the book was published in 1881.
     He is identified as a brother of Dick E. Hotchkin from his brothers obituary.
     An article in the Mason City Gazette, dated August 22, 1934 discusses a party by Mrs A. L. Hotchkin and her daughter Margaret held for Margaret's sisters Florence, Marian and Mildred. Florence was leaving to teach her first year athe high school in Sumner, IA; Marian to begin her first year at Upper Iowa college and Mildred was leaving for her first year at Junior College in Independence, KS.
