     Minnie was born at Parkston, Hutchinson County, SD, USA, on 26 July 1892. Born Jul 1892, age 7 according to the 1900 census of Parkston, Hutchinson, SD. Anthony gave his mothers birth as 1893..¹ She was the daughter of James Evine Rogers and Sarah Catherine Brink. She married Nels Christian Nelson at SD, USA, circa 1915. She married Emery Willis Hotchkin at Sturgis, Meade County, SD, USA, on 5 September 1924. The marriage date comes from Minnie's obituary.. Minnie died on 17 March 1983 at Sturgis, Meade County, SD, at age 90. Her obituary, dated 16 Mar 1983 claims that she died on Monday, which would be 14 March..^2,3 She was buried at Bear Butte Cemetery, at Sturgis, Meade County, SD, USA.

     Minnie had a first marriage to a Mr. Nelson and they had a daughter Helen and a son Kenneth. Kenneth was identified by a note in Minnie's funeral file, where Helen asked the funeral home to locate Kenneth's grave in Bear Butte Cemetery and place a monument on the site. The funeral director replied to Mrs. Helen Wells of Rapid City that he had placed the following monument, Kenneth M. Nelson, born 14 August 1919, died 5 August 1933.
     Minnie A. Rogers married Emery Willis Hotchkin, 5 Sepember 1924 in Sylvan Lake, SD. The records show that she was born, 26 July 1893, in Parkston, Hutchinson Co., SD and died, 14 March 1983, in Sturgis, Meade Co., SD.
     Minnie's obituary says, "they were homesteaders in Meade Co. She was a member of the Meade Senior Citizens, RSVP and the United Methodist Church. Surviving her were her daughter, Helen Wells of Rapid City, two sons, Angelo of Memphis, TN and Anthony of Bloomington, MN, one sister, Anna McGraw of Kanahuli, Hawaii, 13 grandchildren and 15 gread grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, one son (Kenneth Nelson) and a grandson."

     Grace was born on 17 September 1908.¹ She married Glenn W Hotchkin after 1940. Grace May Mainwaring died on 11 August 1995 at South Lake Tahoe, El Dorado County, CA, USA, at age 86.²

     Clayton Edmund Ness was born on 31 March 1890 at Lincoln, Lancaster County, NE, USA. Birth location come from his obituary.^1,2 He was the son of Sylvester Ness and Adelaide Clarisy (Clancy) Black. Clayton Edmund Ness appeared on the census of 1920 at Golden, Meade County, SD, USA. Next to him lives Sylvester Ness, 56, owns free and clear farm, 46, born OH, father born PA, mother OH; wife Adelade, 55; gradsons Clarence Lea, 11, born SD and Lewis Lea, 9, born SD, fathers born in IN and mother SD.. He married Lucile C. Hotchkin at Sturgis, Meade County, SD, USA, on 21 October 1922.³ Clayton Edmund Ness died on 20 February 1974 at St Vincents Hospital, Billings, Yellowstone County, MT, USA, at age 83.^4,2

     Belford L. Skinner was born on 29 June 1905 at MT, USA. Age 25 at the 1930 census.¹ He was the son of Jacob Ulysses Skinner and Azalea Van Houten. Belford L. Skinner appeared on the census of 1920 at School Dist 5, Yellowstone County, MT, USA. The census lists the family as: Jacob N. Skinner, 51, born IA, father born Canada, mother born IL, farmer; wife Azelea, 42, born IA, father born NY, mother born PA; son Belford L., 14, born Mt; son Theodore, 12, born WA..      An article in the ST Joseph MI Herald Press dated Monday Jan 22, 1945 said that James E. Hotchkin was leaving today for an extended vist with the B. L. Skinner's of Vancouver, WA. The article said tha Mrs Skinner was his neice and that he had been living for the past two years with his sister and brother-in-law Eugne Denslow in Benton Harbor.²

     Lois was born at PA, USA, on 12 October 1942. She was the daughter of William Mackie Frew and Kathryn I. Billings. She married Jerry Arnold Hotchkin at Plymouth, Wayne County, MI, USA, on 29 August 1959.¹ Lois Ann Frew died on 23 February 2017 at age 74.

     Parthenia was the daughter of Asa Bement and Abigail Brown. W. B. Gay says that the marriage was to Partenia Bement, eldest daughter of Asa Bement, in 1805. The Bement Family of America, confirms the marriage.
     The Compiler and his wife Cathy found the historic Bement homestead on their 1993 summer tour on New York. We were gathering data in Tioga County along Route 38, Newark Valley, when we saw a sign listing the homestead. We stopped and introduced ourselves as descendants of Asa Bement's son-in-law and got a welcome reception as they were looking for additional information on the family.^3,2
