HOTCHKIN, GRACE G. - Age 91, of Concord, passed away March 2, 2009 at her residence. She was born July 4, 1917 in Washtenaw County to Hiram and Inesse (Leatherman) Brand. On June 6, 1935 she was married to Leo Hotchkin in Homer, Michigan. He preceded her in death July 19, 1995. She was employed as a playground monitor and in the lunchroom in the Public Schools. She was a member of the Universalist Church in Concord and a former member of the Concord Eastern Star. She is survived by one daughter, Sandra Tennant of Onondaga, MI; two sons, Gary Hotchkin of Concord, and Kirk Brian Hotchkin of Windsor Locks, Connecticut; and seven grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers. Visitation for family and friends will begin on Saturday, March 7, 2009 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the Universalist Church in Concord. Funeral Services will be Saturday March 7, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at the Church. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Concord. Arrangements by J. Claribel (Clara Belle) Roberts died on 16 October 1957 at Benson, Cochise County, AZ, USA, at age 53.¹ She was buried at South Lawn Memorial Cemetery, at Tucson, Pima County, AZ, USA.

     Eleanor May Bommer Hotchkin was born on 14 October 1923 at Lansing, Ingham County, MI, USA. She was the daughter of Roy Bommer and Claribel (Clara Belle) Roberts. She married Emery Robert Huntoon at Angola, Steuben County, IN, USA, on 30 July 1939. Eleanor May Bommer Hotchkin and Emery Robert Huntoon were divorced on 18 October 1961 at Multnomah County, OR, USA.¹ She married Harley Rufus Beasley at Portland, Multnomah County, OR, USA, on 7 October 1966.

     Eleanor May is the daughter of Claribel's first marriage to Roy Bommer and was adopted by Hubert Hotchkin after their marriage. She lives in Portland, OR as of 1993.
