ETHEL BURRUs WEBSTER

Ethel Burrus Webster of Lake Glenn Apartments died on Tuesday, April 19, 1977. She will be remembered by many in Caledonia as the manager of the Hart Store on State Street a number of years ago.

She is survived by one son, Clarence Burrus of Groveland, three daughters, Mrs. George (Dorothy) Bancroft of DansvUle Mrs. Charles (Edna) Hell of Ontario, and Mrs. Robert (Mary) Mader of Canandaigua; one brother Alton Pennock of Dansville; two sisters, Mrs. Dewey (Ruth) Perry of Dansville and Mrs. Roy (Goldena) Johnston of Lakeville; 17 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Friends called at the Brown Funeral Heme in Livonia, where services were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Memorials may be nude to the Heart Fund or the American Cancer Society..

Services for Clarence Burrus

Funeral services for Clarence W. Burrus, Sr., of Caledonia, native of Livonia., were held at the family home last Saturday afternoon, with burial in Union cemetery, Livonia. He died suddenly last week Wednesday (Apr. 20, 1949). The Rev. D, C. MacLeod officiated.

Clarence Burrus was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Elkanah Burrus who, with their family, lived for many years on South Spring street.

Surviving are his wife, Ethel Pennock Burrus; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Mader of Canandaigua, Mrs. Edna Sipple of Ontario, Mrs. Dorothy Bancroft of Lima; one son, Clarence Willard Burrus, Jr., of Caledonia; one sister, Mrs. Mildred Figler of Caledonia, four grandchildren.. Frank E. Hinds, 88, of Dansville RD died Sunday (Sept. 3, 1972) in his home.

Born in Belmont, Frank Hinds spent most of his life in the Dansville area. He was a retired employe of the Foster Wheeler Corp. and was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

He is survived by two brothers, Lewis of Dansville and Carl of Red Creek; and a sister, Mrs. Nina M. Gilbert of Westfield.

A funeral service was conducted yesterday in the Assembly of God Church in Dansville. Burial was in Westview Cemetery, Town of Ossian. (GCE, September 7, 1972, p3).1 He was buried at Westview Cemetery, at Ossian, Livingston County, NY, USA.
