Flanagan and Elizabeth Marie (Bessie) Hotchkin, at IA, USA. Leo Patrick Donahue died on 11 August 1980 at Grinnell, Poweshiek County, IA, USA, at age 82. He was buried at Hazelwood Cemetery, at Grinnell, Poweshiek County, IA, USA.

     Mary D. Schmitz was born on 20 April 1918 at Sully, Jasper County, IA, USA. She was the daughter of John Peter Schmitz and Mae Veronica Flanagan. Mary D. Schmitz died on 13 November 2010 at Grinnell, Poweshiek County, IA, USA, at age 92. Mary D. Donohoe, 92, of Grinnell, died on Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010, at St. Francis Manor in Grinnell.

Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 17, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Grinnell with the Rev. Nick Adam, pastor of the church, and the Rev. Mr. William Olson, officiating. Music will be provided by Marilyn Kriegel, organist, and St. Mary's Choir. Casket Bearers will be James Cunningham, Brad Donohoe, Ed Heishman, Gary Heishman, Brent Larsen and Robert Larsen. Interment will be at Hazelwood Cemetery in Grinnell.

Memorials may be directed to Grinnell Regional Hospice.

Mary was born on April 20, 1918, near Sully, to John and Mae Flanagan Schmitz. The family moved to Grinnell following the death of her father, and her mother married Leo Donohoe. She attended Grinnell schools and graduated with the class of 1935 from Grinnell High School.

She worked for the former Merchants National Bank and Poweshiek National Bank, and retired in 1983 as a vice president for the Brenton Bank of Grinnell.

Mary was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and she served on the parish council and was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society. She was also a member of the National Association of Bank Women, Grinnell Regional Medical Center's Auxiliary and was past chairperson of the Poweshiek County Business and Professional Women's Club.

She is survived by her siblings, Eileen Larsen, Donald Donohoe and Betty Heishman, all of Grinnell.

She was preceded in death by her parents and step-father.. She was buried at Hazelwood Cemetery, at Grinnell, Poweshiek County, IA, USA.

He was born 21 December 1914 in Hillsdale, Michigan to George E. and Lulu Clark Bushong.

On 21 August 1943, he married Grace L. Mellencamp, who died 1 August 1992.

Mr. Bushong was a former owner of the Bushong Ford Dealership in Van Wert until 1960 when he built the
Edgecreek Golf Course, Van Wert, which he operated until his retirement in 1982.

He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Van
Wert.

He was a World War II Army Veteran, having served in the Pacific Theater.

He was a member of the American Legion Post of Van Wert..¹ He was buried at Woodland Union Cemetery, at Van Wert, Van Wert County, OH, USA.
