     It would look as if the Compiler has an error here. It is unlikely that David's middle name is Willey and his wife's surname is Willey.

Mary Patricia Hotchkin was born the daughter of Charles Towne Hotchkin and Mary Amelia (DeHart) Hotchkin on October 2, 1930 in Kellogg, Iowa. She was the first girl in her family. Her siblings always referred to her as "Sister." However, with that title came a lot of responsibility to learn housekeeping, cooking, and caring for her four younger siblings. She graduated in 1948 from Kellogg High School, where she participated in.

     She is called Patricia in her brother Stephen's obituary and said to live in Grinnell.

     James Miller Pierce was born on 18 November 1923. He married Mary Patricia Hotchkin on 1 January 1950. James Miller Pierce died on 29 November 2008 at age 85. He was buried at Hazelwood Cemetery, at Grinnell, Poweshiek County, IA, USA.

James "Joe" Pierce 85, of Grinnell died November 29, 2008, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. A funeral mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 3, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Grinnell, with the Rev. Nick Adam officiating. The Rev.'s Walt and John Claussen will be eulogists. Marilyn Kriegel will be organist and Mark Dunnick vocalist. Pallbearers will be Jessica Pierce, Erica Kelderman, Leslie Nehring, Myra Hangartner, Aaron Walker, Michael Hangartner, and Adam Walker. Burial will be in Hazelwood Cemetery in Grinnell. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, at the Smith Funeral Home and where the family will be present from 6:00 to 8:00 Tuesday evening. A scripture service will be held 6:30 p.m. Tuesday evening at the Smith Funeral Home. ….

He married Doris Marie Palmquist at Enumclaw, King County, WA, USA, on 24 August 1957.^1,3 He resided at Bellevue, King County, WA, USA, in 1994. Charles Dennis Hotchkin died on 27 May 2013 at Bellevue, King County, WA, at age 81. Found in King County Deaths dated 6/5/2013..²
