Ivan Howard Sanford appeared on the census of 1930 at Lansing, Ingham County, MI, USA. The census lists the family as: Ivan Sanford, 25, married at 24, born MI, parents born NY, door framer at auto factory; wife Edith, 17, married at 16, born MI, parents born MI.. He died on 13 June 1992 at Alanson, Emmet County, MI, USA, at age 87.1 He was buried at Littlefield Twp Cemetery, at Alanson, Emmet County, MI, USA. Find A Grave cemetery records say that he died in South Bend, IN..

     In 1977 Ivan lived in Alsnson, MI.

Arthur Davis Elston died on 10 May 1945 at Niles, Berrien County, MI, USA, at age 66. Obituary for Arthur Davis Elston : Death Claims Arthur Elston, 66, Of Riverside Arthur D. Elston, 66 a lifelong resident of Hagar township and a well known farmer in Riverside. died at 9 A.M. today at the Quick Convalescent home, Niles. He had been in ill health for some time. Born May 16, 1878 in Hagar township, Mr. Elston had built up a substantial fruit farm during his residence in Riverside. He was a widower, his wife, Evelyn, having died six years ago. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. John McCrery, Coloma; Mrs. Lester Wright, Berkley; three sons Floyd and Glenn of Hagar, Lowell of San Diego, Calif; and 11 grandchildren. Mr. Elston also leaves three brothers: Claude, of Riverside; Wilbur, of Chicago, Ill; Ralph of Riverside; and a sister, Mrs. Merritt Fikes of Riverside. Friends may call at the Beardsley funeral home in St. Joseph, where the body will be until the hour of the service. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.. He was buried at Lake Shore Cemetery, at Riverside, Berrien County, MI, USA.

This date comes from the Sanford Genealogy, but at the 1910 census of Pomroy Thomas is living with a son in Pomroy as listed as a widower..

     This name comes from the Sanford Genealogy. The 1900 census calls her Sophrona and gives the birth date as May 1829, age 80.
