     It is obvious that either the marriage record is wrong or the first 5 children have an earlier mother. The marriage is as printed in Elbert Co., GA white marriages. The 1850 census calls the mother M. Edwards, age 22. The Compiler does not know which is wrong.

     Frances Edwards Fossick remembers that her Uncle David lived in Lakewood, FL and had an orange grove. She doesn't remember his wife’s name, but believes that they had children. According to Pierce Q. obituary in 1944, he lived in Dublin, GA.
