D., 10, born NY; Charles E., 8, born NY; Julia S. Darron, 68, born CT.. She appeared on the census of 1880 at Governeur, St Lawrence County, NY. The census lists the family as: Mrs C. E. Hotchkin, 46, born CT; Julia R., 25, born CT; Carrie N., 22, born NY; Emma S. D., 20, born NY; Charles E., 18, at College, born NY; Julia Darron, 73, born CT.. She died on 17 July 1929 at New York City, New York County, NY, USA, at age 95. Her obituary gives the location as her home on Morningside Dr. Georgia Hotchkiss Rector says July 17th. The Ambrose Hotchkiss bible calls her Eliza Hotchkiss widow of Jeremiah. Obituary in newspaper says July 17 so Compiler will use that date..1,3 She was buried at Spring Grove Cemetery, at Hartford, Hartford County, CT, .

     According to records held by her great granddaughter, Joan W. Everett; Jane Ann was the daughter of Capt Albert Davis and Helen Magdalena Krum. Capt Davis is said to have applied the blindfolds at public hangings in Sullivan Co., NY.The birth and death dates come from her records. At the 1870 census, she and Luther are living next door to Jane's parents.
