Lucretia Watrous Daniels was born on 19 April 1783 at Lyme, New London County, CT, USA.^1,2 She was the daughter of John Daniels and Eunice Beckwith. She married Beriah Hotchkin Jr. at West Bloomfield, Ontario County, NY, USA, on 18 March 1804.^3,4 Lucretia Watrous Daniels died on 4 December 1864 at Prattsburgh, Steuben County, NY, USA, at age 81.

Lucretia's mother died when she was one year old. Lucretia and Beriah were married by Rev James H. Hotchkin at West Bloomfield, NY. According to the NY 1865 census, Lucretia and her unmarried daughter Sarah were living with Lucretia's daughter, Anges Bouton in Troupsburg, NY. There is no record as to where Lucretia is buried, but it is known that she is not buried with Beriah in Prattsburg.
