Services Held For Mrs. T. Hendrick
Mrs. Effie Hendrick, 72, wife of Theo C. Hendrick and life-long resident of Cass City, died June 5 in Hills and Dales General Hospital after a long illness.
Mrs. Hendrick was born in Sanilac County, June 25, 1895, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Brown. She and Theo Hendrick were married June 24, 1915.
She is survived by her husband; four daughters, Mrs. George Fisher Sr. and Mrs. Irene O'Dell of Cass City; Mrs. Isabell O'Dell of Johnson City, N.Y; and Mrs. Sherwell Kelly of New Boston; 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and one brother, Fred Brown of Pallatine, Ill.
Funeral services were held Saturday at Little's Funeral Home. Rev. Willis Braun, pastor of Sunshine United Methodist Church, Rev. Arthur O'Dell, a grandson, and Rev. Alfred Gascho, officiated.
Burial was in Elkland Cemetery..

Marguerite was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be sadly missed by her family. She was a graduate of Cook Academy and a member of the Montour Falls United Methodist Church. She will be most remembered for her intense devotion and caring for her family and her huge collection of "clippings". She was married to Eugene Wilber, her husband of 37 years, who predeceased her on May 18, 1987.
