The 1910 census of Oklahoma City, OK has Bessie and MacLeod living with William T. Snelling and his wife Florence B. Bessie and a sister Jessie are called daughters but must really be step-daughters as both parents were born in AR, while William T. was born in TN. Because of this they will be given a surname of Stropps. Family records called Bessie Strump so these are close. The census says that Florence had 3 children living but the 3rd cannot be found. The family is not found in the 1900 census.
