Straw married Alvira Parshall, daughter of William Parshall and Mellissa J. Loop, on 2 June 1882 at Spring Arbor, Jackson County, MI, USA. Louis D. Straw and Alvira Parshall were divorced circa 1890 at Jackson County, MI, USA. He married Alice L. Parshall at Concord, Jackson County, MI, on 4 August 1893. Obviously there is a mistake here as The Compiler has a Hotchkin child born after her marriage to Straw..2 Louis D. Straw appeared on the census of 1900 at Concord, Jackson County, MI. The census lists the family as: Louis D Straw, Feb 1842, 58, married (crossed off), born MI, father born NY, mother born MI; wife Allen L, mar 1866, 36, married 8 years, 4 children, 2 living, born MI, parents born MI; son Dexter, oct 1873, 26, born MI, single; son Clyde, sep 1895, 4, born MI; dau Lulu, mar 1900, 2/12, born MI.. He appeared on the census of 1910 at Concord, Jackson County, MI. The census lists the family as: Lewis Straw, 68, married 3 times, 16 years, born MI, parents born NY ; wife alice L., 47, married 3 times, 16 years, 7 children, 5 living, born MI, father born NY, mother born MI; son son Clyde, 15, single, born MI, dau Lulu, 10, born MI; Dexter Straw, 35, single, born MI.. He died on 4 February 1916 at Concord, Jackson County, MI, at age 73. Alice remarried and the Compiler can not find him in the 1920 census..

The 1900 census of Scranton gives Kate G. Price born July 1843, in CT and parents born in MA.. She died on 10 October 1907 at New Haven County, CT, USA, at age 84.2 She was buried at Grove Street Cemetery, at New Haven, New Haven County, CT, USA, .
