Barnabas Beers married Mary Hodgkin as his second wife after the death of his first wife, Elizabeth Wilcoxson in 1688. Mary and Barnabas had five children. The Beers family is so well documented in Ragan and Bennett that it will be carried no further by this Compiler.

     The Compiler corresponded with Betty in 1990. She wrote a letter, dated 3 August 1990 saying that her first husband had been dead almost 25 years and that she had remarried Eugene J. Conroy. At this time, she lived in Short Hills, NJ.
     At the 1930 census Betty Beggs is living with an uncle, Frederick Beggs, age 54.
