Bigalow, 38, widow, born NY, parents born NY, Music Teacher; dau Betty C., 7, born NY; dau Marjorie E., 3, born NY.. She died on 18 September 1983 at St Petersburg, Pinellas County, FL, USA, at age 92.^2,3

They were married by Edwin French MG, the marriage witnessed by Sarah French..² Ella died on 1 November 1946 at Spring Arbor, Jackson County, MI, USA, at age 75.³ She was buried at Spring Arbor Cemetery, at Spring Arbor, Jackson County, MI, USA, . Lot 420, Grave #4.

     Ella's marriage to Charles is recorded in the Jackson County Vital Records. Charles and Ella were married by Edwin French, MG; and the wedding appication says that he was a thresher, lived in Spring Arbor and born in Concord ( We believe that it was Spring Arbor). According to their application, both had been previously married; but if so, we have no records as to whom. Ella parents and her brother and sister are described in a publication of the Spring Arbor Historical Committee; Spring Arbor 1830 to 1980. Ella's sister Cora married Edward Cook and Charles and Ella are buried in the Cook Family plot of the Spring Arbor Cemetery, Lot 420, grave #4. Ella was the station agent at the Spring Arbor Depot in the early 1900's and lived all of her life in Spring Arbor. She cared for her grandchildren as her daughter was a polio victim.

She married Eber Hall Hotchkin at El Paso, Woodford County, IL, USA, on 3 November 1857.¹ Celia Ann Bayne married Unknown Hodge circa 1868 at IL, USA. One genealogist of this family says that this was her 3rd marriage.. Celia Ann Bayne appeared on the census of 1870 at El Paso, Woodford County, IL, USA. The census lists the family as: Hotchkin, Celia, age 36, b OH; son Frankie, age 11, b IL, at school; son LLoyd, age 2, b IL; Lloyd is listed as Hotchkin but was born several years after Eber's death. Pg 287, Dew 126, Fam 111. She married G. W. Ferguson on 22 December 1874 at La Salle County, IL, USA. The Ferguson name is found on the Bayne Family gravestone in Evergreen Cemetery, El Paso, IL. The census lists the family as: Celia A. Hodge, born June 1834, age 63, widow, 5 children, 5 living, (Widow and 5 childrens seems to be crossed out) parents both born in OH; Lloyd, born May 1870, age 30, born IL, father born in NY, mother in OH; LLoyd was born after husband Eber died in the Civil War. Possibily Mr Hodge is the father.. She died on 22 May 1902 at Madison, Dane County, WI, USA, at age 69. Celia died at the home of her son, Rev. L. R. S. Ferguson. She had been living with him since 1900 due to failing health..

     At the time of the 1870 census, Celia is living in El Paso with Ernest and another son Lloyd, age 2, also listed as Hotchkin. In 1900 she is living in Peoria, IL as Celia H. Hodge with Lloyd Hotchkin, born May, 1870. Lloyd can not be the son of Eber as Eber died in 1865.
