     A great deal of information about the family is contained in a couple of newspaper articles; Nodaway Democrat, May 26 1904; Maryville Daily Forum January 14 1944, Maryville Daily Forum January 13 1944 and Maryville Daily Forum February 16 1962. He had lived all his life in the Maryville, MO area and operated a Stationary Store. He died while he and his wife were on a shopping trip to Chicago. The Binghamton City Directories show Donald as a partner of his fathers in Hotchkin & Sons. Donald and his wife Marie (Bertha) lived at 165 Leroy Street, Binghamton, NY, until they sold their house in 1987 and moved to Hilltop Manor in Johnson City. All of the city directories refer to her as Marie and not Bertha. Donald was in the Skilled Nursing Unit and Marie in the Retirement Unit until their deaths in 1990; which occurred very close together.
