The census lists the family as: Mary Granville, 48, no occupation, born ME; Evilena, Granville, 13, born ME. They are living in large boarding house or hotel.. She appeared on the census of 1870 at Benton Twp, Berrien County, MI, USA. The census lists the family as: Age 68, living with son George, age 30 and dau-in-law Clara, age 28.. She died on 14 December 1892 at Benton Harbor, Berrien County, MI, USA. Cemetery records. She was buried at Morton Hill Cemetery, at Benton Harbor, Berrien County, MI, USA, . Died at age 90-8-11.

     All of this information except for the census look-ups came from Henry Gustine according to the Compilers cousin Junnelle Denslow Reep. Samuel can not be found in any of the censuses so likely he died before 1850. At the 1850 census, Mary and daughter Evilene are living in a hotel in Chicopee, MA. A George F Granvile, who is the correct age is found in Effingham, Corrol, NH in 1850 with several other Granville,s. There is no proof that this is the correct George. He is not again found until 1870 in Berrien County, MI.
