Mrs. Lydia Cady died today at the home of Aaron N. Bailey, her son-in-law, on West Dominick street, aged 88 years. For some time she had been very feeble but was not confined to her bed until about three weeks ago. Mrs. Cady lived in Verona prior to coming to Rome, which she did 12 years ago. She was the wife of the late Lyman Cady. Three sons survive, Lansing Cady of Waterville, Charles of New York and Edward, who resides in the southern part of this state, also two daughters. Mrs. A. N. Bailey of Rome and Mrs E. Dewey of Buffalo..¹ She was buried at Verona Cemetery, at Vernon Center, Oneida County, NY, USA, .
